Class Action Abuse
No doubt, you have heard stories in the news about how greedy plaintiff lawyers use class actions to reap millions of dollars in fees for themselves, while the consumers they represent get practically nothing.
Our firm believes that consumers in class actions should get a reasonable benefit from the case.
Therefore, our firm will not work on a class action unless we believe that we have a good chance of obtaining real, significant relief for the consumers.
The firm through its Senior Partner Mona Lisa Wallace is actively involved in the Public Justice organization, including its Class Action Preservation project. This project seeks to preserve the right of consumers and workers to participate in class actions. In addition, it seeks to ensure the integrity of class actions by challenging class action bans and other schemes used by corporate wrongdoers to cap their liability and limit their victims’ rights.
