Cathy Williams

Cathy Williams received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark University in 1991.  She received her law degree in 1996 from Nova Southeastern University, College of Law, graduating cum laude.  After law school, Ms. Williams was a law clerk to the Honorable Harry Lee Anstead on the Supreme Court of Florida.  She later joined a defense firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she handled complex commercial litigation and appeals.

In 2004, Ms. Williams joined Wallace & Graham.  Her practice focuses primarily on complex personal injury and products liability litigation involving occupational exposures to hazardous substances, such as coal tar pitch and benzene.  She also represents clients in workers’ compensation claims before the North Carolina Industrial Commission for occupational diseases due to exposure to hazardous chemicals in the work place.

Ms. Williams is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of North Carolina, including the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of North Carolina.  She also is admitted to practice in the States of Florida and New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit.  She is a member of The Florida Bar Association, Appellate Division, The North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Association for Justice.
